Man injured in 2024 Trump rally shooting in Pennsylvania has died<\/p>\n

A man who was severely injured during the assassination attempt on President Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, in 2024 has died, according to House Republicans.<\/p>\n

Jim Copenhaver sustained major injuries when 20-year-old Thomas Crooks opened fire at the Butler Farm Show grounds on July 13, 2024, minutes after Trump took the stage. A bullet grazed Trump’s ear before a Secret Service counter sniper opened fire on Crooks and killed him. <\/p>\n

“We are deeply saddened by the passing of Jim Copenhaver, who was gravely wounded in the horrific shooting in Butler, Pennsylvania. Jim endured unimaginable hardship with strength and perseverance. We join his family and loved ones in mourning his loss and praying for them during this difficult time. May he rest in peace,” House Republicans posted on X. <\/a><\/p>\n
