READING, Pa. \u2013 The Berks County Board of Elections voted Thursday to approve a permanent polling place change in the Borough of Hamburg.<\/p>\n
Voters residing in Precinct 2 of the borough will have its polling location moved to the Hamburg Field House, 125 South Primrose St., from the previous location at the borough building.<\/p>\n
Chairman Michael Rivera said the change came from a request from the borough because it is reorganizing its space and had two precincts with polling places in the borough hall.<\/p>\n
Rivera said having two locations too close together would be confusing and that the fieldhouse is located within the Second Precinct.<\/p>\n
The general election will be held on Nov. 3.
