Kranitz (1974 \u2013 2026)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"648\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Screenshot-2026-09-24-101035.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-80421\" style=\"width:327px;height:auto\"  \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Erika M. Kranitz, 51, of Port Carbon, formerly of Bethlehem, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Sept. 21, 2026. Born in Gulfport, Miss., on Oct. 17, 1974, Erika was the daughter of Florian and Elizabeth (Tully) Kranitz. She was a corrections officer at Northampton County Prison for 10 years. A tremendous softball player, Erika played for Liberty High School, Northampton Community College and DeSales University. She was a member of the Edward H. Ackerman American Legion Post #397, Hellertown, and the Independent Citizens Club, Bethlehem.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SURVIVORS<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to her parents, Flo and Betty; daughter, Macaley L. Kranitz; son, Nikaiya J. Kranitz, both of Bethlehem.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SERVICES<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Services will be held privately and at the convenience of her family. The Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., Hellertown, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
