Police and the Erie County Coroner’s office are investigating a fatal motorcycle accident.<\/p>\n
It happened just before 8:30 Saturday morning at East High and Main Street in Union City.<\/p>\n
According to Erie County Coroner Lyell Cook, the motorcyclist, age 59, was thrown from his motorcycle after colliding with a truck or the mirror of a truck.\u00a0 The man was thrown and suffered critical injuries.<\/p>\n
He was rushed to UPMC Hamot where he underwent surgery.\u00a0 The victim died from his injuries in the early afternoon hours.<\/p>\n
