\nEMMITSBURG, MD (September 25, 2026)- The Mount men’s water polo team will play in Erie, PA this weekend for the Laker Invite. The Mount currently sits at a record of 3-7 for the season after last weekend’s tough matchups.

\nMOUNT UPDATE
\nThe Mountaineers fell\u00a0to #5 Fordham, MIT and LIU in this past weekend of play.\u00a0Four players recorded hat tricks over the weekend, and Aleksandar Radosavljevic<\/a> scored four goals in the game against LIU. \u00a0Hat tricks were earned by Matias Miranda<\/a>, Neven Cerkez<\/a>, Luka Urosevic<\/a> and Jack Fox<\/a>. Other goals scored in the three games came from Aaron Tarr<\/a>, Will Matthews<\/a>, and Giannis Skliras<\/a>. Linc Smith<\/a> and Ivan Morales<\/a> both got time in goal over the weekend, with Smith playing in all three games and Morales coming in to relieve Smith for the second half of play against LIU.

\nThe Mount is looking to gain some momentum this coming weekend to earn more wins for the season\u00a0as players are working their way back in the lineup.

\nUP NEXT
\nThe Men’s Water Polo team will travel to the west coast to meet Concordia University of Irvine for a solo match on Thursday October 1st. Then\u00a0the team will head\u00a0to the Gary Troyer Tournament hosted in California on Friday October 2nd and Saturday October 3rd, where they will play four games over the two-day span.
