EXETER TWP., Pa. – Exeter Township’s homecoming bonfire took a shocking turn Thursday night when the fire erupted with unexpected force.<\/p>\n
In a statement, the school district says at least one person got hit with debris and that they were evaluated on scene.<\/p>\n
69 News is told the person was not seriously hurt.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are grateful to all of the emergency responders and bystanders who quickly offered assistance and help,\u201d the statement reads.<\/p>\n
The district says it won’t be having a bonfire in the future.<\/p>\n
