PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — A man has been convicted in connection with a mass shooting in West Philadelphia.<\/a><\/p>\n

The gunfire erupted during a block party<\/a> on July 21, 2024, in the 1200 block of North Alden Street, where more than 100 people had gathered.<\/p>\n

Three people were killed, and six others were wounded.<\/p>\n

Tahir Shoatz was found guilty of third-degree murder and related charges but acquitted of two other murder charges.<\/p>\n

The judge ruled that Shoatz did not fire the shots.<\/p>\n
