WYOMISSING, Pa. – Stem cell donations and the fight against leukemia were at the center of attention in Berks County on Saturday.<\/p>\n
Community members and organizers gathered to show support and help spread the word about donor registration.<\/p>\n
Nearly 20 years after receiving a lifesaving stem cell transplant, Reading-area resident Tom Hoch organized a “rebirthday” to mark his recovery and to encourage others to consider registering as potential donors.<\/p>\n
