Here\u2019s Full Advisory | US News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/153125598.jpg\" alt=\"US winter storm\" title=\"US winter storm\"\/><\/p>\n<p>According to the weather service, 6 to 11 inches of snow could fall, especially in the higher areas of northwest Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/preferences\/source?q=times now\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/152643139.cms.gif\" alt=\"google\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a lake effect snow warning for Southern Erie, starting Sunday at 7 pm and continuing until Tuesday at 1 pm. <\/p>\n<p>Heavy snowfall and difficult travel conditions are expected during this period.<\/p>\n<p>Heavy Snow And Power Outages Likely<\/p>\n<p>According to the weather service, 6 to 11 inches of snow could fall, especially in the higher areas of northwest Pennsylvania. <\/p>\n<p>The snow will be wet and heavy, which may cause tree damage and power outages since many trees still have leaves. <\/p>\n<p>Snow could fall at 1 to 2 inches per hour in the strongest snow bands.<\/p>\n<p>Dangerous Travel Conditions<\/p>\n<p>The NWS warned that roads, bridges, and overpasses will likely become slippery and hazardous. Visibility could drop to less than \u00bc mile during heavy snow, making travel dangerous. <\/p>\n<p>The Monday morning and evening commutes may be especially affected.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities are advising residents to avoid unnecessary travel. If driving is essential, motorists should carry extra food, water, and a flashlight in case of emergencies.
