A man died after he was stabbed in the chest early Sunday in Philadelphia, police said.<\/p>\n
According to the Philadelphia Police Department, officers responded to the 200 block of West Lehigh Avenue at about 2:45 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 27, after receiving a report of a stabbing.<\/p>\n
When officers arrived, police said they found a man suffering from a single stab wound to his chest.<\/p>\n
Medics transported the man to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead at about 4:14 a.m.., according to police. <\/p>\n
Police said the investigation remained active and ongoing.<\/p>\n
