Over 1,000 of those customers are in the Easton area.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/omap.prod.pplweb.com\/OMAP\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">PPL\u2019s map for power outages<\/a> reported that around 270 customers have been affected near Hamilton and South 13th streets in Allentown due to \u201ctree limbs on wires.\u201d The map added that on-site crews estimated power should be restored by 4 p.m.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/forecast.weather.gov\/MapClick.php?CityName=Allentown&amp;state=PA&amp;site=PHI&amp;textField1=40.5963&amp;textField2=-75.4777&amp;e=0\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The National Weather Service<\/a> had the Lehigh Valley under a wind advisory through noon Sunday, predicting north winds of 10-15 mph and gusts up to 30 mph for the afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>Much of the northeast was dealing with a powerful nor\u2019easter that caused flooding in New Jersey and New York, and left tens of thousands without electricity in New England.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Over 1,500 customers were without power Sunday following a wind advisory for the Lehigh Valley.
