{"id":295356,"date":"2026-09-28T04:34:08","date_gmt":"2026-09-28T04:34:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/295356\/"},"modified":"2026-09-28T04:34:08","modified_gmt":"2026-09-28T04:34:08","slug":"man-shot-multiple-times-in-pittsburghs-homewood-neighborhood","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/295356\/","title":{"rendered":"Man shot multiple times in Pittsburgh\u2019s Homewood neighborhood"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">PITTSBURGH \u2014 A man was shot multiple times Sunday in Pittsburgh\u2019s Homewood neighborhood. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Police were sent to the 7300 block of Frankstown Avenue just after 9 p.m. for two ShotSpotter alerts of 31 rounds, according to the Pittsburgh Public Safety Department.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Officers were on their way when they found a man in the 7300 block of Race Street who\u2019d been shot in the arms and legs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Officers put tourniquets on the man until medics arrived and took him to the hospital. He was last said to be stable. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">The man was reportedly awake and able to talk with medics while being transported.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Investigators found the crime scene on Frankstown Avenue, where shell casings were recovered.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">The investigation is ongoing.
