Blank Street Coffee, the chain known for serving espresso and matcha-flavored drinks, opened a location on the northern edge of GW\u2019s campus Saturday.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The new Blank Street location sits at 2200 Pennsylvania Ave. \u2014 where a sign has read the cafe was \u201ccoming soon\u201d since December \u2014 near Washington Circle, becoming the company\u2019s third active\u00a0D.C. location and its first in\u00a0Foggy Bottom. Blank Street opened<\/a> its first location in Brooklyn, New York in August 2020 and has rapidly expanded to over 100 locations in the U.S. and the UK.<\/p>\n The Foggy Bottom location will be open daily from 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., according<\/a> to the store\u2019s website. Blank Street did not immediately return a request for comment on whether the new location would accept GW dining dollars.\u00a0<\/p>\n In 2022, Blank Street said<\/a> they planned to open 10 D.C. locations within a year, but those plans never materialized.
