They didn’t make it back before the storm began. When they later reviewed the footage, they discovered that a UPS driver had stepped in to help.The video, shared by Julie Pavlik Young, shows an earlier delivery leaving packages outside. Later, UPS driver Paige Riggle arrives with another delivery. She notices the packages on the porch, gathers them and moves them under cover in a bin to help protect them from the rain.Young said the family was about an hour away when they saw the packages on camera and hurried home. The deliveries were for their French bulldog, Louie.”It was such a relief!” Young said in a message about finding the packages safely tucked away. She added that she and Riggle both have French bulldogs, which made the moment feel even more special.In her original Facebook post, Young thanked the driver for taking the extra moment to help. “She simply saw something she could do to help a stranger and did it,” she wrote.The family shared the footage to recognize Riggle and hoped it would reach her and her supervisors. Riggle later commented on the post, confirming that she was the woman in the video. Young thanked her in a reply and also sent her a private message.Young said her family has been lucky to have great UPS drivers and wanted to share a positive story. “People are often quick to post when something goes wrong,” she wrote, “but we think it’s just as important to recognize people when they do something KIND.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A family in Houston, Pennsylvania, was rushing home as a thunderstorm approached after seeing on their Ring camera…\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":295563,"comment_status":"","ping_status":"","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[6],"tags":[122238,122239,28,30,29,122240],"class_list":["post-295562","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-pennsylvania","tag-julie-pavlik-young","tag-paige-riggle","tag-pennsylvania","tag-pennsylvania-headlines","tag-pennsylvania-news","tag-ups-driver"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/295562","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/2"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=295562"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/295562\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/295563"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=295562"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=295562"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=295562"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
