In a post, the Middlesex Township Police Department said the woman&#8217;s remains were found on Sept. 25, and the 39-year-old Allen admitted to killing Gsell one day later.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>      <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/default-2026-09-28t175129-379.png#.png\" alt=\"default-2026-09-28t175129-379.png \" height=\"349\" width=\"620\" class=\" lazyload\"  loading=\"lazy\"\/><\/p>\n<p>                  David Allen is charged with murder in the death of Kimberly Gsell, who was reported missing in 2019 in Pennsylvania. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>                (Photo Credit: Cumberland County District Attorney&#8217;s Office)<\/p>\n<p>The<a href=\"https:\/\/crimewatch.net\/us\/pa\/cumberland\/da\/5591\/post\/murder-charges-filed-case-involving-disappearance-kim-gsell\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" data-absolute=\"true\"> Cumberland County District Attorney&#8217;s Office<\/a> said its forensic lab confirmed the identity of the remains through dental records and its &#8220;Rapid DNA capabilities.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Despite the reality that we faced, we were hoping throughout this investigation to be able to give her family good news that Kim would be found alive,&#8221; Cumberland County District Attorney Se\u00e1n M. McCormack said in a statement. &#8220;Unfortunately, the news we delivered to the family confirmed what many of us suspected, Kim has been dead from the moment she disappeared.&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Gsell was reported missing from the Rodeway Inn in Middlesex Township in 2019. CBS affiliate <a href=\"https:\/\/local21news.com\/news\/local\/police-missing-middlesex-woman-last-seen-in-argument\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" data-absolute=\"true\">WHP<\/a>\u00a0reported in 2019 that police said the woman was last seen getting into an argument. <a href=\"https:\/\/local21news.com\/news\/local\/kimberly-gsell-engaged-married-david-snyder-murder-nose-injury-rodeway-inn-yellow-breaches-creek-cumberland-county-pennsylvania\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" data-absolute=\"true\">WHP<\/a>\u00a0reported, citing the criminal complaint, that Allen killed Gsell and buried her body on the bank of the Yellow Breeches Creek.  <\/p>\n<p>Allen is in the Cumberland County Prison. He is being held without bail.
