Last Friday night, there was a guy swallowing swords outside of Sheetz in Cranberry.<\/p>\n

Deadly weapons aren\u2019t on the new menu<\/a> \u2014 just some deliciously bad-for-you food including a Pizza Bagel Bunz Burger, Lumber Jack Breakfast Sandwich and Tater Bomb Nachos.<\/p>\n

The limited-time items are part of a collaboration between Sheetz and First We Feast, the online food-culture magazine and digital media studio behind \u201cHot Ones,\u201d a YouTube show<\/a> that features host Sean Evans interviewing celebrities as they eat progressively hotter wings.<\/p>\n

To celebrate, the suburban gas station parking lot was transformed into a medieval banquet hall filled with local influencers and content creators \u2014 and a hungry magazine food editor. This was crazier than a June\u2019s Glizzy Gala<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Presiding over the gluttonous realm was Adam Richman, television host, actor, cook and former host of \u201cMan v. Food.\u201d During the Travel Channel show\u2019s first season in 2008, Richman visited Primanti Bros. and Quaker Steak & Lube.<\/p>\n

Now he\u2019s hosting \u201cFuel Stop Feast,\u201d a three-part mini-series<\/a> that pits chefs Christian Alquiza and Ian Fujimoto against each other in a series of food battles that turned into Sheetz offerings.<\/p>\n

The Lumberjack Breakfast Sandwich features sausage, bacon, eggs and a honey bun stacked between crispy waffles; The Pizza Bagel Bunz Burger, swaps pizza bagels for traditional buns; and the Tater Bomb Nachos are spuds piled with chicken strips, peppers, onions, nacho cheese and crispy jalape\u00f1os and potato chips.<\/p>\n

Slay all three of these beasts (like I did) in one sitting and you\u2019ll be knighted by the King of Calories.<\/p>\n

Loyal subjects of \u201cHot Ones\u201d can test their mettle locally at Pittsburgh\u2019s Rivers of Fire<\/a> Oct. 9-10. Now in its second year, the hot sauce festival will have 22 vendors, a hot pepper-eating contest, a scavenger hunt, a fire and aerial show by Iron City Circus Arts, food trucks, pinball and ice baths to benefit Animal Friends for Veterans.<\/p>\n

Guests can also watch folks from Positively Pittsburgh: The Podcast<\/a> interview brave souls who have committed to eating atomic wings.<\/p>\n
