The community is invited to lace up their walking shoes and support heart health during the 2026 Erie Heart Walk, set for October 14, at the 2026 Erie Heart Walk hosted at the Bayfront Convention Center.<\/p>\n
The annual event, organized by the American Heart Association, brings together individuals, families, survivors, and supporters to raise awareness about heart disease and stroke while promoting healthy lifestyles and community engagement.<\/p>\n
Participants can begin arriving at 5 p.m. for registration, with a ceremonial ribbon cutting scheduled for 6 p.m. Organizers say the walk route will be determined based on weather conditions, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees.<\/p>\n
The event will take place at the Bayfront Convention Center, located at 1 Sassafras Pier in Erie, where pre-event activities, ribbon-cutting ceremonies, and drum ceremonies will be held.<\/p>\n
