Bethlehem, PA (September 29, 2026) – Sophomore\u00a0Matthew Smith<\/a>\u00a0posted a team-low 80 leading the DeSales University golf team to a second place finish at the Makuvek Cup held at Saucon Valley CC – Weyhill course on Tuesday afternoon.<\/p>\n Smith made two birdies on holes #4 and 9 to card his 8-over par score.<\/p>\n Junior\u00a0Dylan Carfara<\/a>\u00a0finished with an 86 and the freshmen duo of\u00a0Isaac Mattern<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Mason Rush<\/a>\u00a0rounded out DSU’s top four with an 87 for Mattern and a 91 for Rush.<\/p>\n The Bulldogs are back in action on October 9-10 hosting the DeSales University Fall Classic at Olde Homestead GC.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
