At least 1 dead after 2 separate shootings in Allentown<\/a><\/p>\nA second shooting was reported Tuesday shortly after 8 p.m. in the area of South Front and East Susquehanna streets, near E. Cumberland Street.<\/p>\n
Officers found a man with multiple gunshot wounds, police said.<\/p>\n

He was treated on scene and rushed to a hospital where he died from his injuries, authorities said.<\/p>\n
A suspect in that shooting has been taken into custody, police said.<\/p>\n
Barrett Griggs, 39, of Schuylkill Haven, was charged with homicide and persons not to possess firearms, police said.<\/p>\n
Autopsies for both homicide victims are set for later Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n
Allentown police said the two shootings are not related.<\/p>\n
The Lehigh County Homicide Task Force, District Attorney’s Office and Coroner’s Office are assisting in the investigation.<\/p>\n
The City of Allentown released the following statement on Facebook:<\/p>\n
