Pittsburgh Regional Transit light rail vehicle hit by car in Mt. Lebanon, 2 taken to hospital<\/p>\n

A Pittsburgh Regional Transit Light Rail vehicle was hit by a car Thursday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Officials with PRT said a vehicle hit the Light Rail near where the Red Line crosses Poplar Drive in Mt. Lebanon. <\/p>\n

Around 20 passengers were on board at the time of the crash. <\/p>\n

Two people were taken to a hospital. Officials have not said whether or not those people were on the LRV or in the vehicle. <\/p>\n

Sky 4, Pittsburgh’s only news helicopter, was over the scene when the LRV began to move once again.<\/p>\n

The condition of those who were injured is unknown. <\/p>\n
