2 injured in hit-and-run in East Allegheny<\/p>\n
Two people were injured and taken to the hospital Thursday night after a crash in Pittsburgh\u2019s East Allegheny neighborhood.<\/p>\n
First responders were called just after 10 p.m. to an incident between a vehicle and a motorcycle in the 800 block of Spring Garden Avenue.<\/p>\n
The motorcycle driver and his female passenger were taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition, public safety officials said.<\/p>\n
The other vehicle \u2014 which officials described as a black sedan \u2014 fled the scene.<\/p>\n
An investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n
Woman in critical condition after domestic incident<\/p>\n
Police said a woman is in critical condition following an early morning shooting in Pittsburgh\u2019s Knoxville neighborhood.<\/p>\n
Police were called to the Knox Avenue for reports of a woman who had been shot inside an apartment during a domestic incident.<\/p>\n
Public safety officials said police found the victim outside on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to the chest. Another woman was with her.<\/p>\n
Officers used a chest seal and administered CPR until medics arrived. The woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition.<\/p>\n
The Mobile Crime Unit processed evidence at the scene. Patrol officers secured a gun.<\/p>\n
The second woman on the scene was detained and taken to police headquarters for questioning.<\/p>\n
