Wallar, 70, of North Braddock, was indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of theft of public money and representative payee misuse, the Department of Justice announced Friday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">The indictment claims that Wallar, while the representative payee on another person\u2019s Social Security benefit account, converted the payments for other purposes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">The alleged conduct happened from June 3, 2019, to May 30, 2025.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">If convicted, Wallar could face 10 years in prison and\/or a fine of up to $250,000 for the theft charge.
