PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Philadelphia police are looking for three people connected to an armed robbery in the city’s Brewerytown section.<\/p>\n

It happened at the Diaz Grocery in the 1500 block of N. 29th Street on September 29.<\/p>\n

Police released surveillance images of an armed robbery at Diaz Grocery in Philadelphia’s Brewerytown section.<\/p>\n

Police say two armed suspects came into the shop around 4 p.m. and announced a robbery, while a third suspect allegedly stayed outside to keep watch.<\/p>\n

The robbers then forced the victims into a rear stockroom, where they demanded access to a safe, however, they were unable to gain access.<\/p>\n

The suspects then ransacked the shop before taking off with one of the victims’ keys, phone and roughly $7,000 in cash.<\/p>\n

The owner was reportedly pistol-whipped during the incident, resulting in a large laceration below the eye, police said.<\/p>\n

One of the suspects is described as being between 25-30 years-of age, and was wearing a KMSL hooded sweatshirt, Sprayground backpack and a black handgun.<\/p>\n

The other is believed to be between 17-20 years old. He has ear-length twists\/braids, black\/white Spider-Man backpacks and a black handgun.<\/p>\n
