{"id":300628,"date":"2026-10-06T05:38:10","date_gmt":"2026-10-06T05:38:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/300628\/"},"modified":"2026-10-06T05:38:10","modified_gmt":"2026-10-06T05:38:10","slug":"man-who-skipped-his-sentencing-for-gun-charges-arrested-in-pittsburgh-police-say","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/300628\/","title":{"rendered":"Man who skipped his sentencing for gun charges arrested in Pittsburgh, police say"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">PITTSBURGH \u2014 A man whom police say skipped his sentencing for gun charges is back in custody.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">A spokesperson for the Allegheny County Sheriff\u2019s Office said Matthew White, 27, of McKeesport, was arrested at a house on Penfort Street on the North Side on Monday. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">White was scheduled to be sentenced for gun charges on Sept. 2, but police say he never showed up.
