A woman has been hospitalized after flames tore through a Kensington rowhome early Tuesday, officials said.<\/p>\n
According to fire officials, firefighters responded to a fire in a rowhome along the 2900 block of Gransback Street in Philadelphia’s Kensington community at about 5:45 a.m. on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
Officials said one woman who was in the home when the flames erupted was taken to a nearby hospital where she was listed in stable condition.<\/p>\n
During the morning, crews worked to pour water on the structure in an effort to extinguish the flames. <\/p>\n
As of about 6:45 a.m., crews were still working at the scene of the incident. <\/p>\n
Officials did not immediately detail the scope of the damage, but three rowhomes could potentially be impacted by the flames. <\/p>\n
Fire officials also did not say what may have caused this fire, but an investigation is underway.<\/p>\n
