Josh Shapiro, compared to 34% backing Republican challenger and current state Treasury Secretary Stacy Garrity. Both candidates lead among voters aligned with their respective parties, but Shapiro also leads among independents, 62% to 23%.  <\/p>\n<p data-node-id=\"3\">The poll also found that just over half of voters are either very satisfied or somewhat satisfied with the direction of the commonwealth. Additionally, nearly three-quarters of voters approve of Gov.
