A longtime Philadelphia<\/a> arts tradition is celebrating a major milestone this fall. The 50th Annual Philadelphia Museum of Art Contemporary Craft Show will bring 195 artists to the Pennsylvania Convention Center from Friday, November 6 through Sunday, November 8, 2026.<\/p>\n

The weekend will give visitors a chance to meet participating artists and view and purchase handmade works across 13 different categories of craft and design, ranging from one-of-a-kind jewelry and ceramics to textiles and sculptures.<\/p>\n

Before the 2026 Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show officially begins, the celebration will kick off with the PMA Craft Show Preview Gala on Thursday, November 5, from 4 to 9 p.m. Guests will be among the first to meet the artists and shop their work. Preview Party tickets include a cocktail buffet, drinks and admission to all three days of the show.<\/p>\n

Special Events Throughout the Weekend<\/p>\n

The Craft Show will feature several additional programs.<\/p>\n

On Friday, November 6 at 1 p.m., four featured artists will take part in an interactive scarf-tying presentation called \u201cFit to be Tied.\u201d Attendees will learn different ways to style and pair individual scarves and shawls.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, November 7 at noon, the \u201cFind Your Style\u201d fashion event will showcase one-of-a-kind pieces from participating artists, including art to wear, jewelry and leather.<\/p>\n

Later that afternoon, at 2 p.m., clay artists Syd Carpenter, Adebunmi Gbadebo and Roberto Lugo will participate in a guest speaker event exploring their achievements as well as the history and future of ceramics. Reservations are required, and ticket buyers will be prompted to reserve a spot when purchasing admission to the show.<\/p>\n

Celebrating 50 Years of Contemporary Craft<\/p>\n

All works displayed by artists at the show will be available for purchase, with each artist keeping the proceeds from their sales.<\/p>\n

The milestone event also supports the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Over 50 years, the Craft Show has raised more than $15 million to help fund educational programs, special exhibitions and acquisitions for the museum\u2019s permanent collection.<\/p>\n

The Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show was established in 1977 and is presented annually by The Women\u2019s Committee of the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Craft Show Committee.<\/p>\n
