With Halloween just weeks away, communities across Erie and Crawford counties have finalized trick-or-treat schedules, giving families plenty of time to plan their night of costumes and candy.

In Crawford County, some municipalities will hold trick-or-treating before Halloween. Meadville will be the first community to welcome trick-or-treaters on October 29 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Cambridge Springs will follow on October 30 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Most communities in both counties will hold trick-or-treating on Halloween night, October 31. In Erie County, nearly all municipalities have set hours from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., including the City of Erie, Millcreek Township, Harborcreek Township, Fairview Township, North East Borough and Township, Girard Borough and Township, Edinboro Borough, Albion Borough, Corry, Summit Township, and several others.

Edinboro Borough will also offer an early opportunity for families, with local small businesses distributing candy from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. before the official trick-or-treat hours begin.

In Crawford County, Titusville will hold trick-or-treating on October 31 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Motorists are reminded to use extra caution on Halloween night as large numbers of children and families take to neighborhood streets. Parents are encouraged to carry flashlights, use reflective gear when possible, and accompany younger children while trick-or-treating.

With Halloween just weeks away, communities across Erie and Crawford counties have finalized trick-or-treat schedules, giving families plenty…

[12
6824,19036,136,142,138,137,732,3467
post-302534","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-erie","tag-costumes","tag-crawford-county","tag-erie","tag-erie-county","tag-erie-headlines","tag-erie-news","tag-halloween","tag-trick-or-treat
["GET
