LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA \u2014 Sign installation and construction is planned this week on Route 1, PennDOT said.<\/p>\n
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said the work takes place on Route 1 under a $116 million project to reconstruct, widen, and improve a three-mile section of the highway in Bensalem and Middletown townships.<\/p>\n

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather-dependent.<\/p>\n
