ALLENTOWN, PA \u2013 October 8, 2026 \u2212 Eastern Exterior Wall Systems and State Senator Nick Miller (D-Lehigh\/Northampton) hosted an open house celebrating the transformation of a once-shuttered manufacturing facility and the company\u2019s continued growth and investment in the Allentown community.<\/p>\n
The event provided an inside look at the facility\u2019s revitalization, the construction and workforce behind the project, and the economic impact of bringing new manufacturing activity to the site.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe wanted a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility right here in the City of Allentown, and the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program made it possible to take on the challenges of a blighted property. We\u2019re proud of what we\u2019ve built at 606 S. 10th Street, and we\u2019re grateful to State Senator Nick Miller and State Representative Peter Schweyer for their work securing the grants that made this redevelopment possible,\u201d said Jody Marcon, President and CEO of Eastern Exterior Wall Systems.<\/p>\n
\u201cManufacturing has been a significant part of Allentown\u2019s history and seeing the opening of this manufacturing facility today continues that legacy for the state\u2019s third largest city,\u201d Secretary of Revenue Pat Browne said. \u201cThis event is a testament to a strong partnership between the city, the state and Eastern Exterior Wall Systems, all of whom are dedicated to the investment in and redevelopment of a site which had a long manufacturing history in Allentown but has since seen significant challenges. I thank Eastern Exterior Wall Systems for its commitment to the city, this facility and the benefits this investment will bring to our economy.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
