She was killed alongside her children, 5-year-old Isiah and nearly 2-year-old Amari&#8217;anna, in Friday&#8217;s shooting.<\/p>\n<p>                  <a class=\"js-click-image js-track-link image-lightbox-preview\" data-node-ref=\"tmz:image-asset:image_jpg_20261011_8286de68542441898f7447525f56b77d\" data-container-ref=\"tmz:article:28e58f4c-830b-4908-b757-fc736b92ae7f\" data-context=\"{&quot;section&quot;:&quot;permalink&quot;,&quot;name&quot;:&quot;image&quot;}\"><\/p>\n<p>                          <img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/8286de68542441898f7447525f56b77d_md.jpg\" alt=\"erie-pennsylvania-shooting-getty-1\" width=\"728\" height=\"546\" class=\"img-fluid image-block__img-fluid img-aspect-auto\"\/><\/p>\n<p>                  <\/a><\/p>\n<p>As we previously reported, nine people were initially <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2026\/10\/10\/nine-people-including-two-children-dead-mass-shooting-erie-pennsylvania\/\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">reported dead<\/a> in the massacre &#8230; including two children and the suspected gunman &#8212; who authorities say died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"continued\" class=\"continued-anchor\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The tragedy unfolded Friday evening on Perry Road, where police responded to reports of gunfire. Witnesses reportedly saw a man shooting outside a home before going inside.<\/p>\n<p>Officers and a SWAT team responded, establishing a perimeter and attempting to get the suspect to surrender.
