For a spooktacular day of tricks, treats, and ghoulishly grand fun, visit the Heinz History Center during Haunted History Center Halloween<\/a> on Sunday, October 26th. Enjoy nonstop family-friendly festivities and Halloween activities between 10am \u2013 2pm.<\/p>\n

Kids are in for a treat with freaky face painting, temporary tattoos, creepy-cool mask crafts, a haunted photo booth, and more!<\/p>\n

Encounter spirits of Pittsburgh\u2019s past haunting the galleries as you roam from floor to floor\u2014including the Scary Pittsburgh section of Pittsburgh\u2019s Hidden History<\/a>\u2014collecting candy and solving clues on the Trick-or-Treat Scavenger Hunt. Get a glimpse into Pittsburgh\u2019s dark side with historic cemetery maps and \u201cNight of the Living Dead\u201d materials.\u00a0<\/p>\n

At 11am and 1pm, folklorist Thomas White will share eerie tales and legends from Pittsburgh\u2019s past during Spooky Storytime. Perfect for kids ages 6 \u2013 12, these sessions will bring local folklore to life in a fun, not-too-scary way.<\/p>\n

Enjoy the creepiest cup of coffee you have all year with a visit to The Coffin Bean & Co. Truck, a mobile coffee bar pulled by a hearse, serving themed drinks outside the museum.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Regular admission rates apply for adults. But best of all, kids ages 17 and under always receive free admission at the History Center through the Kamin \u201cFree for Kids\u201d Initiative. Please note that tickets are still required for all guests, and they strongly recommend reserving in advance online<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Kids are encouraged to wear their costumes (but please leave masks and toy weapons at home). With candy, crafts, costumes, and surprises around every corner, frightful fun awaits on every floor during Haunted History Halloween. Reserve tickets, if you dare.<\/a><\/p>\n
