Two victims of the horrific Pennsylvania murder-suicide that killed nine <\/a>\u2013 including two children and a pregnant woman \u2013 were identified as friends who selflessly rushed to the scene in a brave final act. <\/p>\n

Lora Roberts, 37, and Twila Tanner, 51, ran to the Erie, Pa. home, where a deadly mass shooting was underway on Friday night to try to save Roberts\u2019 niece when they were both killed by the twisted 45-year-old grandfather<\/a> responsible for the shocking loss of life, according to online fundraising campaigns.<\/p>\n

Roberts was a mother of five who was engaged to her fianc\u00e9 of 14 years, loved ones shared in an online fundraiser. <\/p>\n

\u201cHer sudden loss has left her loved ones facing heartbreak as well as immediate financial needs during an unimaginable time,\u201d the GoFundMe page states.<\/p>\n

Roberts \u2013 a mother of five who was engaged to her fianc\u00e9 of 14 years \u2013 was among those senselessly gunned down. GoFundMe<\/p>\n

Tanner had joined Roberts as they both rushed to the home together to try to stop more bloodshed, friends and family said in a separate GoFundMe campaign.<\/p>\n

Twila Tanner, 51, went with Roberts and was also killed in the murder-suicide, loved ones said in a separate GoFundMe post. GoFundMe<\/p>\n

Tanner was \u201cbravely trying to help a friend protect her family from a violent and dangerous individual,\u201d loved ones said.<\/p>\n

Tanner \u2013 who leaves behind children and grandchildren \u2013 was also tragically shot and killed in the effort to help save Roberts\u2019 niece from the violent attack, according to the online fundraiser.<\/p>\n

The two friends are believed to have been the last to be killed before the cowardly shooter turned the gun on himself.<\/p>\n

The duo was among the last to be killed after the 45-year-old gunman stepped outside to shoot them as they frantically pounded on the door of the Perry Road home. Getty Images<\/p>\n

The \u201cdistressed\u201d women began pounding on the door of the home on Perry Road after gunshots went off inside, according to video and audio evidence gathered by investigators. <\/p>\n

The gunman then stepped outside to shoot them both before going back inside and killing himself, cops said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Both families are asking for donations to cover funeral expenses and support the respective relatives who are reeling from the shocking murders.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Among the other victims gunned down is Angelina Stone, the killer\u2019s pregnant daughter who was just days away from giving birth<\/a> to her third child to be named Kyrie.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Stone\u2019s two other children, Isiah, 5, and Amari\u2019anna, nearly 2, were also killed.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Authorities have yet to identify other victims of the attack, saying that they are in the process of notifying the victims\u2019 next of kin.\u00a0However, police said all nine victims \u2014 except for a family friend, believed to be Tanner \u2014 were relatives. <\/p>\n
