ALLENTOWN, Pa. – One person is hurt after an overnight shooting in Allentown.<\/p>\n
Police confirmed with 69 News that the gunfire erupted near Liberty Fire Company Social Club on North Hall Street around 12:45 a.m. Monday.<\/p>\n
In a news release, the Allentown Police Department said someone discharged a firearm into the building around 12:45 a.m.<\/p>\n
Police say that one person had minor injuries. Officers gave the person first aid before ambulance crews brought him to the hospital\u00a0to be treated for his injuries, according to city police.<\/p>\n
An investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n
Police said there is no threat to the community.<\/p>\n
