{"id":30530,"date":"2025-11-11T00:07:09","date_gmt":"2025-11-11T00:07:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/30530\/"},"modified":"2025-11-11T00:07:09","modified_gmt":"2025-11-11T00:07:09","slug":"sasha-suda-sues-philadelphia-art-museum-for-firing-her","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/30530\/","title":{"rendered":"Sasha Suda sues Philadelphia Art Museum for firing her"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>From Philly and the Pa. suburbs to South Jersey and Delaware, what would you like WHYY News to cover? <a href=\"#Section1\">Let us know!<\/a>\n<\/p>\n<p>The former CEO of the Philadelphia Art Museum, Sasha Suda, has filed a lawsuit against the museum for firing her without cause.\n<\/p>\n<p>Suda was terminated last Tuesday by the board for reasons not stated.\n<\/p>\n<p>In her legal filing, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/interactive\/2025\/11\/10\/us\/philadelphia-art-museum-director-fired-lawsuit.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">posted by The New York Times,<\/a> Suda describes a \u201csmall, corrupt and unethical faction of the board\u201d that had been actively attempting to \u201cbully\u201d and sabotage her attempts to modernize the institution, leading to an illegal termination.
