MERCER COUNTY, NJ \u2014 A Trenton man was taken into custody on murder charges after a traffic stop in Bensalem, PA on Saturday, police said.<\/p>\n
A police officer was on patrol in the area of 2700 Knights Road when he spotted a black Chevrolet Malibu with heavily tinted windows that violated the PA Vehicle Code, authorities said. <\/p>\n
The police officer made a traffic stop and spoke with the driver and passenger of the vehicle.<\/p>\n
The passenger was identified as Quamere Forney, 31, Laurel Place, Trenton. A check of the National Crime Information Center revealed that Forney had an active arrest warrant out of the Trenton Police Department for attempted homicide and related charges.<\/p>\n
Forney was taken into custody without incident, arraigned by District Justice Baranoski, and remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility with no bail.
