{"id":306242,"date":"2026-10-14T05:48:07","date_gmt":"2026-10-14T05:48:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/306242\/"},"modified":"2026-10-14T05:48:07","modified_gmt":"2026-10-14T05:48:07","slug":"man-shot-in-torso-legs-in-pittsburghs-east-hills","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/306242\/","title":{"rendered":"Man shot in torso, legs in Pittsburgh\u2019s East Hills"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">PITTSBURGH \u2014 A man was shot in Pittsburgh\u2019s East Hills on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Allegheny County dispatchers said police and medics were called to the 2200 block of Wilner Drive at 9:31 p.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">A Pittsburgh Public Information Officer said an eighteen-round ShotSpotter alert went off in that area.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Police found a man suffering from gunshot wounds to the torso and upper legs. They applied seals and tourniquets until medics arrived to take him to the hospital. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Officials said the man was taken to a hospital and immediately taken into surgery.
