More seasonable temperatures return Thursday, then showers and windy conditions develop Friday.<\/p>\n

Good afternoon,<\/p>\n

Scattered showers will continue early in the afternoon and move southeast across the Susquehanna Valley toward evening. An isolated rumble of thunder is possible. Expect highs near 80 and sticky humidity levels.<\/p>\n

Tonight, spotty showers will end, and lows will fall to the upper 50s under mostly cloudy skies.<\/p>\n

More typical October weather returns Thursday. Highs will reach the mid-60s and humidity will be lower and more refreshing. Clouds will linger along the PA\/MD state line in the morning, then increase across the area toward evening. Spotty showers are possible late.<\/p>\n

IMPACT FRIDAY & SATURDAY:
Scattered showers will develop Friday morning, as a warm front lifts into the Susquehanna Valley. The chance of showers continues into the afternoon and evening, as a strong cold front approaches. Highs will reach the low-to-mid 70s, and it will turn windy by evening, as the front passes. Expect sustained NW winds of 15-25 mph with gusts to 40 mph.<\/p>\n

We’re in for a much cooler and windier start to the weekend. Expect partly sunny skies and highs in the low 50s Saturday. Winds will be gusty in the morning, then relax by evening, as high pressure moves overhead. Lows will fall to the mid-30s Saturday night, leading to our first frost of the season.<\/p>\n

Sunday will feature abundant sunshine and crisp highs in the upper 50s. Another round of frost is possible Sunday night.<\/p>\n

Next week, temperatures return to seasonable averages, in the mid-60s during the day, and upper 40s overnight.<\/p>\n
