BETHLEHEM, Pa. — An argument after a children’s football game leads to gunshots fired, with the gunman getting away. Now, police are actively investigating.<\/p>\n
69 News spoke to someone who heard the gunfire.<\/p>\n
“I was terrified,” said the neighbor.<\/p>\n
The neighbor, who did not want to appear on camera, described what she felt as gunshots rang out feet away from her backyard.<\/p>\n
“I try to keep my kids away from that but it’s just getting closer and closer so it’s just scary,” she says.<\/p>\n
According to police, on Friday, just before 4:30 p.m., officers responded to reports of multiple gunshots in the area of Rodgers and Lewis streets next to Sell Field.<\/p>\n
“I was extremely upset because I moved into this neighborhood thinking it was a good neighborhood, it was safe, not having to worry about those type of things, but unfortunately I was wrong,” she says.<\/p>\n
Witnesses tell investigators an argument occurred after a youth championship football game. They say a man dressed in black fired multiple shots in the air before being driven away in a black sedan with tinted windows.<\/p>\n
Nine shell casings were recovered.<\/p>\n
No one was injured, and officials are still investigating.<\/p>\n
