Amy Christine Antonucci, age 66, of Brookline, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2026, after a long battle with cancer.
Born on December 29, 1959, in Pittsburgh, PA, Amy was the youngest daughter of the late Donald and Ada Criswell. She was the beloved wife of 23 years to the late Vincent Antonucci and a loving mother to her daughter, Ashley (Brent) Antonucci.
Family was always at the heart of Amy\u2019s life. She is survived by her loving sisters, Deborah (Jim), Jane, and Donna (Joe); her two cherished grandsons, Vincent and Dominic; her nieces and nephews; and many dear friends who held a special place in her heart.
As the baby of the family, Amy was rarely told no. As a teenager, she could often be found in her sisters\u2019 closets, \u201cborrowing\u201d their clothes. Funny, stubborn, fiercely loyal, and full of personality, Amy had a way of making connections wherever she went. She never met a stranger, and her friendships were an important part of her life. She treasured the people she welcomed into her circle, and those friendships brought her love, laughter, and lasting memories.
Amy was also deeply proud of her involvement in recovery. Being active in the recovery community and helping those who were new to the program was especially meaningful to her.
Above all, Amy loved being a mother and, especially, a Nonni to Vincent and Dominic. She was immensely proud of her daughter, Ashley, and the meaningful work she did at The Midwife Center. In honor of Amy, the family invites those wishing to pay tribute to her memory to consider making a donation to The Midwife Center, an organization close to Amy\u2019s heart because of her pride in Ashley and the important work she did there. Amy will be deeply missed by her family, her friends, and all who knew and loved her. Her humor, loyalty, strength, and love for the people in her life will never be forgotten.
