{"id":307384,"date":"2026-10-15T18:38:07","date_gmt":"2026-10-15T18:38:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/307384\/"},"modified":"2026-10-15T18:38:07","modified_gmt":"2026-10-15T18:38:07","slug":"2-pittsburgh-road-projects-lead-to-traffic-restrictions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/307384\/","title":{"rendered":"2 Pittsburgh road projects lead to traffic restrictions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A pair of construction projects on major Pittsburgh roads will prompt traffic changes on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>PennDOT will install signs on the Parkway East in two locations between 2 and 10 a.m.: eastbound between the on-ramp from Bates Street and the Plum exit (84B) and westbound between the Penn Hills and the north Route 885\/Oakland (Exit 73A) interchanges.<\/p>\n<p>Drivers can expect mobile lane restrictions and short-term shoulder restrictions.<\/p>\n<p>Lane restrictions will take place on Penn Avenue between North Braddock Avenue and North Lexington Street in Point Breeze between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. beginning Thursday and through late December.<\/p>\n<p>Crews from Wilson Excavating are repairing a gas line for Peoples Natural Gas.
