He dealt with knee issues throughout the summer.

Since departing from the Steelers in 2022 to ink a deal with the Kansas City Chiefs, Smith-Schuster has also suited up for the New England Patriots. He won a Super Bowl during his first go-round with Andy Reid’s team, then returned to catch passes from Patrick Mahomes after a one-season sabbatical with Bill Belichick’s crew.

When he joined with the New York Giants this offseason, Smith-Schuster reconnected with former Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy, but was cut loose a few months later.

The Steelers haven’t yet shown any interest in a reunion with Smith-Schuster, who began his NFL career as a second-round pick (No. 62 overall) in 2017.

He spent the first five go-rounds with the Steelers, posting 111 receptions for 1,426 yards and seven touchdowns in 2018. His breakout effort helped result in superstar pass-catcher Antonio Brown demanding his way out of town.

Mentioned In This Article:JuJu Smith-Schuster Pittsburgh Steelers Steelers

Steelers News Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster runs with the ball against the Las Vegas Raiders on…

[9
126202,73,75,74,1833,1829
post-307794","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-pittsburgh","tag-juju-smith-schuster","tag-pittsburgh","tag-pittsburgh-headlines","tag-pittsburgh-news","tag-pittsburgh-steelers","tag-steelers
["GET
