A man who served two decades in prison for abducting a Pittsburgh teenager in 2002 will likely spend the next 25 years behind bars.<\/p>\n
Scott Tyree, 63, had only been out of prison for a few years when he was accused of stalking a woman in central Pennsylvania. <\/p>\n

He went to trial on that charge and was just found guilty by a jury. <\/p>\n Twenty-four years ago, Alicia Kozakiewicz was kidnapped and sexually assaulted by Tyree in the first known Internet predator case in the country. She was 13 at the time. <\/p>\n \u201cI do think he should be put behind bars for the rest of his life because this is not going to stop. He\u2019s had every opportunity to make better choices and not cause harm, and at every turn, his ultimate goal and desire has been to cause harm,\u201d Kozakiewicz said.<\/p>\n PREVIOUS COVERAGE >>> \u2018Alicia\u2019s Law\u2019: Internet safety bill named for Pittsburgh-area girl advances in Pennsylvania Senate<\/a><\/p>\n The FBI found Kozakiewicz in the basement of Tyree\u2019s Virginia home. <\/p>\n He spent nearly 20 years in federal prison and was released to a halfway house just 3 miles from the Kozakiewicz family home. <\/p>\n PREVIOUS COVERAGE >>> Victim speaks out about kidnapper relocating near her family<\/a><\/p>\n After 11 investigators broke that story, Kozakiewicz petitioned the court to have Tyree relocated. <\/p>\n PREVIOUS COVERAGE >>> Kidnapping, rape victim pleads with judge to move her attacker out of Pittsburgh<\/a><\/p>\n Tyree was ultimately sent back to prison for violating parole after investigators found child porn on his phone. <\/p>\n PREVIOUS COVERAGE >>> Man who kidnapped, raped Pittsburgh teen in 2002 accused of violating parole<\/a><\/p>\n He was released and several years later charged with stalking a woman in Cumberland County after Kozakiewicz and her boyfriend, who were tracking Tyree\u2019s social media, found images of the woman online and alerted her and police.<\/p>\n Last December, Tyree pleaded guilty to stalking but only faced up to 23 months on that charge. <\/p>\n Kozakiewicz, who was in court for the most recent verdict, is just relieved it\u2019s finally over. <\/p>\n \u201cWe were able to stop that.
