Our partnership with TechA11y gives us a continuous approach to improving accessibility as our digital content evolves,” he said.

Digital accessibility presents an ongoing challenge for organizations because websites and other digital resources are constantly changing. New pages are published, documents are uploaded, media is added, third-party components change, and users encounter content in different contexts.

TechA11y’s AI technology is designed to help organizations continuously monitor and improve digital accessibility and compliance. So, rather than treating accessibility as a one-time project, the partnership establishes an ongoing accessibility program across The Wright Center’s digital presence. TechA11y’s infrastructure will monitor the websites for accessibility issues, generate and deploy remediation, respond to changing and dynamic web content, and document remediation activity over time.

The engagement also includes accessibility remediation services for PDF documents and digital media.

For TechA11y, the collaboration represents an important expansion into the healthcare sector and an opportunity to work with an enterprise whose mission strongly aligns with the principles of digital inclusion.

“Digital accessibility is ultimately about people. When someone is looking for health information, trying to understand available services, learning about a community program or simply trying to navigate an organization’s website, disability should not be the reason they encounter a barrier, Kirk Uhler, CEO of TechA11y, said.

For more information, visit TheWrightCenter.org.

The Wright Centers for Community Health and Graduate Medical Education is strengthening its commitment to digital accessibility through…

[15
3099,3100,6487,1099,1057,7442,3078,201,182,803,2941,139,28,178,180,179,6799,181,4962,1481,2685,2943
post-308403","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-scranton","tag-carbondale","tag-carbondale-township","tag-covington-township","tag-dickson-city","tag-health","tag-honesdale","tag-jermyn","tag-lackawanna-county","tag-local-news","tag-luzerne-county","tag-monroe-county","tag-news","tag-pennsylvania","tag-scranton","tag-scranton-headlines","tag-scranton-news","tag-south-abington-township","tag-top-stories-stt","tag-tunkhannock","tag-wayne-county","tag-wilkes-barre","tag-wyoming-county
["GET
