He\u2019d like to get through it in one piece, though he believes playing at Raymond James Stadium won\u2019t help his cause.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/sportsnetpittsburgh.com\/pittsburgh-steelers\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Steelers<\/a> beat the Buccaneers 26-19 in overtime on Sunday, earning a two-game win streak. Rodgers went 33-for-49 with 253 yards and two touchdowns. He was also sacked five times.<\/p>\n<p>Landing on the surface at Raymond James Stadium isn\u2019t his favorite thing to do, especially today.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It\u2019s got to be one of the worst surfaces in the league,&#8221; Rodgers said via <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/MikeDeFabo\/status\/2111937538114138392?s=20\" rel=\"nofollow\">The Athletic<\/a>. &#8220;We&#8217;re talking about player safety. I&#8217;m very thankful to not get hurt. I&#8217;ve gotten hurt twice on this field, in my opinion, because of the turf&#8230; I don&#8217;t think it&#8217;s very safe out there.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Rodgers, who ruptured his Achilles in his first season with the Jets, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/story\/_\/id\/12062161\/aaron-rodgers-suffered-pulled-calf-muscle-early-green-bay-packers-win\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">played through a calf injury<\/a> against the Buccaneers in 2014.<\/p>\n<p>In 2025, the future Hall of Famer previously called Pittsburgh\u2019s Acrisure Stadium &#8220;<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.si.com\/nfl\/aaron-rodgers-ripped-unplayable-steelers-home-field\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">unplayable<\/a>,&#8221; though he hasn\u2019t brought it back up since.<\/p>\n<p>More Steelers<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Aaron Rodgers is playing in his final NFL season.
