Tuesday morning while a bomb squad and robotic device inspected the vehicle, which was located across from JoAnna Connell Elementary School.<\/p>\n<p>As a precaution, the school was first placed in secure status before students were evacuated by bus to Wilson Middle School.<\/p>\n<p>Erie\u2019s Public Schools said all students and staff remained safe throughout the incident.<\/p>\n<p>EmergyCare and the Erie Fire Department also responded as a precaution while police worked to clear the scene.<\/p>\n<p>Police later said the vehicle was safe and there was no continuing threat.
