LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA \u2014 The Lower Merion Township Board of Commissioners are hosting a special meeting Wednesday to vote on increasing solid waste collection fees.<\/p>\n
The meeting will be held at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday in the Second Floor Board Room of the Lower Merion Township Administration Building in Ardmore.<\/p>\n
At the meeting, the commissioners will vote on an ordinance that would amend the township code.<\/p>\n
The amendment would provide a 5 percent increase to residential solid waste collection fees for each subscription level (mini-can, standard, and enhanced) and all optional rear-yard collection service levels.<\/p>\n
Below are fees should the ordinance pass:<\/p>\n
Annual solid waste fee for a mini-can container up to 21 gallons \u2014 $303Annual solid waste fee for one or two containers that total between 21 and 96 gallons \u2014 $465Annual solid waste fee for three or four containers that total between 96 and 192 \u2014 gallons $686<\/p>\n
Rear yard collection (if elected):<\/p>\n
