{"id":311453,"date":"2026-10-22T01:36:12","date_gmt":"2026-10-22T01:36:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/311453\/"},"modified":"2026-10-22T01:36:12","modified_gmt":"2026-10-22T01:36:12","slug":"convicted-cyberstalker-sentenced-to-years-in-prison-for-harassing-women-online-at-local-gyms","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-pa\/311453\/","title":{"rendered":"Convicted cyberstalker sentenced to years in prison for harassing women online, at local gyms"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wpxi.com\/news\/local\/local-self-proclaimed-influencer-pleads-guilty-federal-court-cyberstalking-women\/CGKSQJ4U2ZHCTCFN45GTXSNA3I\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.wpxi.com\/news\/local\/local-self-proclaimed-influencer-pleads-guilty-federal-court-cyberstalking-women\/CGKSQJ4U2ZHCTCFN45GTXSNA3I\/\">convicted cyberstalker<\/a> will now spend years behind bars.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Investigators say <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wpxi.com\/news\/local\/pittsburgh-man-fitness-enthusiast-arrested-by-fbi-accused-cyber-stalking-women\/T45DYUEPGJG5XCTACSXQIP4C7E\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.wpxi.com\/news\/local\/pittsburgh-man-fitness-enthusiast-arrested-by-fbi-accused-cyber-stalking-women\/T45DYUEPGJG5XCTACSXQIP4C7E\/\">Brett Dadig<\/a> terrorized nearly a dozen women, harassing them online using his podcast and in person at gyms in the South Hills and Strip District.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wpxi.com\/news\/local\/self-proclaimed-influencer-faces-federal-indictment-accused-stalking-women-gyms\/7U54U33LPNH47JJQ6YVHQ47IC4\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.wpxi.com\/news\/local\/self-proclaimed-influencer-faces-federal-indictment-accused-stalking-women-gyms\/7U54U33LPNH47JJQ6YVHQ47IC4\/\">&gt;&gt;&gt; Self-proclaimed influencer faces federal indictment, accused of stalking women from gyms &lt;&lt;&lt;<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">A judge sentenced him to nearly four years behind bars and called his criminal behavior \u201cprofound, outrageous, and inexcusable.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">The majority of these women met him at gyms all across our area, and even in other states. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">Prosecutors say Dadig showed up uninvited at women\u2019s homes and businesses, followed them from work, posted their photos and private information online and talked about them on his podcast.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">He also referenced breaking women\u2019s fingers and jaws and threatened to burn down gyms.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">At gyms across the South Hills and the Strip District, Dadig\u2019s name is well known. After his arrest last year, he went online and apologized to multiple gyms, including F45, where he\u2019s been banned nationally.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">\u201cI would just like to say I apologize if I made anyone uncomfortable at F45, at Flo Yoga, at Stride,\u201d Dadig said at the time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">This federal case involved 11 victims; two of them were women who had PFAS that police say he violated.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 gJuxXh body-paragraph\">\u201cI\u2019m a positive, happy-go-lucky guy.
