Erie police are searching for a suspect in the stabbing of another man at a westside residence Nov. 10.<\/p>\n
Erie police said Nov. 11 that the stabbing was reported shortly after 2 p.m. Nov. 10. Officers who were called to a residence in the 1400 block of Poplar Street found a 35-year-old man sitting on a kitchen chair with three stab wounds to his upper back and an injury to his forehead, Erie police Deputy Chief Rick Lorah said.<\/p>\n
The man told police he was at a residence in the 1800 block of Chestnut Street with four others when a man wearing a mask and a tan coat pulled out a pocket knife and stabbed him, Lorah said.<\/p>\n
Officers spoke to a person at the Chestnut Street residence who reported hearing loud noises and seeing the victim fighting with another person before the victim was stabbed, according to Lorah. Police recovered a knife with blood on it, he said.<\/p>\n
