A program that has helped train family doctors for decades is celebrating a major milestone.

AHN Saint Vincent marked 50 years of its Family Medicine Residency Program, honoring five decades of educating and preparing physicians for careers in family medicine.

The celebration gave current and former doctors an opportunity to look back on the program’s history and reconnect with colleagues who have been part of it over the years.

More than 100 current and former physicians attended the anniversary event. All have been connected to the Family Medicine Residency Program at some point during its 50-year history.

The anniversary celebration was held at Lakeshore Country Club.

The event also marked another significant milestone for Saint Vincent, coming just one year after the hospital celebrated its 150th anniversary.

A program that has helped train family doctors for decades is celebrating a major milestone.
